Blue Belton

Colors are black and white. This is a more common color seen in the English Setter.
Eye pigment and nose with be black in color. Different shades of black may appear on the dogs coat which may appear blue in color when heavily ticked.....This is where the term Blue Belton or Roan comes from. Coats can range from lightly ticked to heavily ticked.

Orange Belton

Colors can be different shades of light tan/brown (orange) and white. This is a more common color seen in the English Setter. Eye pigment and nose with be brown in color. Different shades of brown may appear on the dogs coat which may appear orange in color when heavily ticked and blended with the white coat.  This is where the term Orange Belton or Orange Roan comes from.  Coats can range from lightly ticked to heavily ticked.  More orange coloring over the white is also known as Orange Roan.

Tri-Color Belton

Colors can be different shades of light tan/brown with black and white. This is a more common color seen in the English Setter. Eye pigment and nose with be black in color. The dog will be black and white with tan/brown ticking on the snout and legs;  this is your tri-color. Coats can range from lightly ticked to heavily ticked.

Lemon Belton

Colors can be different shades of light tan/brown (orange) with white. This is a more rare color seen in the English Setter. Eye pigment and nose will be pinkish in color.   This is the only difference between an Orange and a Lemon Belton.  Most times you will see blue or green eyes. Light tans/browns appear on the dogs coat alone with the white. Coats can range from lightly ticked to heavily ticked.

Chestnut Belton

Colors are dark brown or liver (Chestnut) with white.  This is a more rare color seen in the English Setter. Eye pigment and nose will be brown in color. Most times you will see blue or green eyes. Dark brown will appear on the dogs coat alone with the white.
Coats can range from lightly ticked to heavily ticked.

Chestnut Tri Belton

Colors are dark brown or liver along with a tan/brown color with white.  This is a very rare color seen in the English Setter. Eye pigment and nose will be brown in color.   Most times you will see blue or green eyes.  Dark brown will appear on the dogs coat alone with tan/brown ticking on the snout and legs and the white.   Coats can range from lightly ticked to heavily ticked.
